Ensuring that there is a common understanding across the children’s workforce of both continuing and emerging safeguarding concerns, and how these are being, addressed is an important part of helping us all work together to achieve the best outcomes for children young people and families in Sheffield
‘Team Talk’ is a new bi-monthly safeguarding briefing, for all those in the Sheffield children’s workforce, that aims to support this understanding. Each ‘Team Talk’ will focus on a particular safeguarding issue, often an emerging issue about which less is known or understood.
Each briefing will be kept purposefully ‘brief’ (no more than two sides of A4), and ideally should be shared by managers/ team leaders with staff at team meetings or service events - thus allowing the opportunity for a brief discussion, comment or questions.
