Early Help Assessment/Family Common Assessment Framework(FCAF):

Early Help Training is available to education settings from MAST. For further information please go to: Early Help, Thresholds of Need and FCAF

Working together: promoting well-being & keeping children safe:

This is a multi-agency course run by the SCSP exploring how different staff and agencies can work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. The course includes some training for the Common Assessment Framework and Lead Professional Role.

Other multi-agency training:

The SCSP provides a variety of multi-agency training, workshops and seminars which are free for staff in education settings. Follow this link to find out more: Multi-Agency Training.

Pastoral and support staff with a significant safeguarding role are also welcome, with the agreement of their Head Teacher, to attend the Advanced Initial and Refresher Safeguarding Children in Education training for Designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputies. This training will help to develop their knowledge of safeguarding children processes, multi-agency working and supporting children and their families.
