Update and development session for safeguarding leads – Neighbourhoods Directorate

Update and Development Safeguarding Sessions - Neighbourhood Services Directorate.

Every year the Sheffield Safeguarding Partnerships run these events to support Safeguarding Leads in Neighbourhoods Services Directorate.

It’s an opportunity to hear about what’s new and developing in the world of safeguarding along with topics that have been identified as a training need.

This year we’ll be hearing about:

- The new SCC Safeguarding Policy and what it means to be a safeguarding lead
- What’s there on Go Learn to support you and your staff with bespoke safeguarding training
- Self Neglect – recognising the signs and responding to this safeguarding issue

The session is suitable for Safeguarding Leads and frontline staff who have basic safeguarding awareness.

After the session you will issued with a certificate of attendance, you will then need to notify your line manager that you have attended.

To contact us about training telephone 0114 2734530 or email safeguardingchildrentraining@sheffield.gov.uk
