Safeguarding Workshop - Trauma Informed Practice and Skills (Stage 2 Part A)
A trauma-informed approach represents a way of working across all services that promotes six principles: safety, empowerment, choice, collaboration, trust, and cultural consideration.
Level 2: Trauma Skilled Working aims to build on the Level 1 (Trauma Informed Working) training, increasing our understanding of what psychological trauma is, how it can affect the people we work with, and how people can be supported to recover. This training is delivered in two parts (A and B) and is for anyone who is likely to be coming into contact with people affected by trauma, even if you or your service do not have a specific role in supporting recovery from trauma.
You must have attended Stage 1 of this training prior to attending Stage 2. You can attend Part A and B of this training in one day or you can attend Part A and then Part B on another date.
