Neglect involves not meeting a child’s basic physical and psychological needs. It is the most common form of child abuse. It can have serious and long-lasting impacts on a child’s life.

This short course will support practitioners from all agencies to develop a foundation of understanding about child neglect. It is suitable for all practitioners including those whose contact with children in the line of their work may be brief.
