Safeguarding Workshop - Education Neglect for the multi-agency workforce

Friday 20 November | 2pm-3pm | Online - Teams

Education neglect occurs when a child’s right to education is persistently undermined—for example, through poor attendance, lack of suitable education or a failure to address barriers that keep them from learning.

This focused session, the last during this Neglect themed Safeguarding Awareness Week, will help professionals and volunteers who work with children and their families to recognise warning signs, understand the impact on safeguarding and long-term outcomes, and work confidently with families and partner agencies to secure timely support.

Attend to strengthen your professional curiosity, improve multi-agency decision-making and help ensure every child can access and benefit from education.
