Safeguarding Workshop - Domestic Abuse: Safeguarding Children & Young People (IDAS)

Children and young people are considered victims of domestic abuse, and are often exposed to abusive behaviours in the home. This 2 hour workshop from IDAS will cover:

• Awareness of the realities and effects of domestic abuse on children and adults;
• Resources to support victims of domestic abuse;
• The prevalence of domestic abuse;
• Legal framework and policies relating to domestic abuse and safeguarding.
