Safeguarding Workshop - Domestic Abuse: Protecting Children Living with Domestic Abuse

Children don’t just witness domestic abuse, they experience it. This course helps professionals recognise how living with fear, coercive control, instability, and trauma affects children’s safety, development, and wellbeing. This 2 hour workshop from IDAS will cover:

•  The reality of what children live through rather than simply what they witness.

•  Recognising emotional and behavioural indicators.

•  Considering the short and long-term impact.

•  Embedding trauma-informed responses.
