Education Settings - BE THE CHANGE: White Ribbon Celebration Event
This event coincides with White Ribbon Day (International day for the elimination of violence against women and girls).
The aim of the event is to celebrate progress made by Sheffield Schools and to inspire further action within our schools and education settings to tackling violence against women and girls.
Developing anti misogyny practice and continuing to strengthen networks across the city by sharing practice and skills.
This event is in addition to the Advanced Refresher half day training course held on the same site in the morning and requires a separate booking. Participants attending the morning can attend both sessions.
Content will include:
- Strategic overview of Sheffield’s strategy to end VAWG
- White Ribbon
- School input
- Vision for the future
The event is free for maintained schools and academies. There is a charge for 'free' and independent school staff attending.
Attendance on all courses must be prioritised non-attendance without prior cancellation or agreement will be charged at £60.00 per session if it is not in line with our charging policy.
You must be logged into your training account to see availability on all sessions.
If for some reason you are no longer able to attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else. You can cancel the booking up to 7 days prior to the course date by logging in to the booking system and clicking on 'My Account' in the top right hand side of the page.
