Education Settings - Safe and Together Overview 1 Day Training
Sheffield City Council have adopted the Safe and Together Model as the foundation of how we in Sheffield support families who are experiencing domestic abuse.
The Safe and Together Overview Day offers professionals the opportunity to understand how they can work in a way that is domestic abuse informed, gives professionals a shared language that can be used to talk about domestic abuse without blaming the survivor for the abuse they have experienced, and helps to support all professionals to recognise perpetrating domestic abuse as a parenting choice and explore how professionals can hold perpetrators accountable for the harm they cause their children.
The course is free for maintained schools and academies. There is a charge for 'free' and independent school staff attending.
Attendance must be prioritised Non-attendance without prior cancellation or agreement will be charged if it is not in line with our charging policy.
