Education Settings - Online Safety : Refresher for current/experienced DSLs and Online Safety Coordinators

KEY INFORMATION TO READ BEFORE YOU BOOK

This training is open to/advised for all DSLs and Online Safety Coordinators – especially those who have not completed either the Emerging Themes course or Overview course in recent years, the Advanced Initial course in 2023-24 or 2024-25 or the Advanced Refresher course in 2023-24.

Online Safety in Schools and Colleges is the responsibility of the DSL.  The DSL may delegate the day-to-day leadership of Online Safety to fully trained DSD and that person is known as the Online Safety Coordinator.

Additionally, schools may delegate the Teaching & Learning leadership of online safety to an Online Safety Curriculum Coordinator.  This person must be supported in the role by a DSL/DSD who is also fully trained in Online Safety.

The course is free for maintained schools and academies.  There is a charge for 'free' and 'independent' school staff attending.

You must be logged into your training account to see availability on all sessions.

Attendance must be prioritised.  Non-attendance without prior cancellation or agreement will be charged at £60.00 per session if it is not in line with our charging policy.

If for some reason you are no longer able to attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.  You can cancel the booking up to 7 days prior to the course date without incurring a charge by logging in to the booking system and clicking on 'My Account' in the top right hand side of the page.
