Education Settings - Advanced Initial Safeguarding in Education training for DSLs/DSDs only (day 2 of 2)

KEY INFORMATION TO READ BEFORE YOU BOOK

Both Day 1 and Day 2 must be applied for at the same time of booking onto this 2 day course to ensure that you complete the entire duration of the training to receive your certificate.

The course is free for maintained schools and academies.  There is a charge for 'free' and independent school staff attending.

New for 2026-2027: Day 2 of this course will be delivered on-line.  Full participation and engagement is still required.  This includes having your camera on and a working microphone so please check these functions on your device beforehand.  It is recommended that participants treat the day as if they are unavailable and out of the office.  Where less than full participation and engagement is suspected participants will be challenged and if this is not resolved the day will need to be repeated in order for the course to have been completed.  You will be sent the joining link for Day 2 after you have attended Day 1 with any pre-course reading for Day 2.

Attendance on both days must be prioritised non-attendance without prior cancellation or agreement will be charged at £60.00 per session if it is not in line with our charging policy.

You must be logged into your training account to see availability on all sessions.

**Places are limited to 3 per school per course.  Additional places booked will be cancelled and you will be asked to move to another date.**

If for some reason you are no longer able to attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.  You can cancel the booking up to 7 days prior to the course date by logging in to the booking system and clicking on 'My Account' in the top right hand side of the page.

Please note you cannot book onto Day 2 unless you have already booked your place on Day 1.  If you do book and you have not already booked Day 1 your booking will be deleted.
